Test roba un payaso How to Protect
Locks, spikes, bait Commons, and a door you actually watch.
The door is the game
Income does not matter if the slot is empty. Test roba un payaso is eight-player online stealing. Public servers are where that sentence becomes expensive. People will test your lock, walk your spikes, and take Inferno because you looked at the lane for four seconds. Protecting the plot is not a side activity you do after how to steal. It is the reason a steal is worth running.
If you still have an empty pad, go back to Getting Started. This page assumes you have something worth taking: Mini Mini, Dufini Sombrini, Fede Vigevani, a Secret, or worse (for you) a Divine such as Roko Roto.
Lock timing
Hit lock as soon as a generating payaso is on a slot. Hit lock again whenever you return from the lane. Hit lock after every place. The lock is not a once-per-session ritual. It is a habit attached to the place prompt.
When the lock is on cooldown, you are the lock. Stand in the doorway. Face the approach. Do not sit at the back of the plot counting $/s. Do not AFK in the shop UI. The on-screen lock control is listed with the rest of the binds on controls. Mobile players lose plots because the lock button shares space with the joystick. Practice hitting it without looking down.
If you must leave for a buy, leave only when the lock has enough time for the round trip you actually run, not the round trip you imagine. Center lane buys are short. Cross-map steals are not. The steal planner exists so you stop guessing that timing. The tools hub will not lock the door for you.
Watch the door, not the highlight
On a public server you should spend more time looking at your entrance than at other people’s Divine models. A player who stops moving near your pad is not sightseeing. A player who loops the ring twice is measuring lock duration. A player who dies on your spikes and comes back is committed.
Callouts that mean you stay home:
- Your lock timer is thin.
- A named thief is standing off-camera beside the door.
- You just placed a Secret and have not relocked.
- The server just flipped into an admin abuse spawn and everyone is hungry.
Callouts that mean you can take a short lane trip:
- Lock is fresh.
- You can see the approach.
- The buy beats your worst slot on the value sheet.
- You are not carrying anything yet.
Bait Commons
Owners who keep a Luli or Mini Mini in the grab path are not confused. They are baiting. The Common is the unit a greedy runner will take while the real income (Alfa, 404, Los Fachas, Roko Roto) sits one step deeper behind spikes. Use this yourself.
Park a cheap Common where the proximity prompt fires first. Put spikes on the line a sprinting thief has to take after the grab. Keep the high $/s units off that first prompt. A thief who came for Divine and leaves with Luli is a win even if they “got a steal.”
Do not bait with the only generating unit you own. Bait is a luxury of a filled plot. First-session players should just lock, as in how to play.
Spikes, tree, and the rest of the shop
Community sessions keep showing three plot buys:
- Tree, around 2000 cash. Buy it when two slots tick. It is a base investment, not a reason to leave the door open while you admire it.
- Spikes. Place them on the path, not as lawn decor. If thieves always enter from the same angle, cover that angle.
- Luck. Luck is offense for the lane, not defense. Buy it after the door is a solved problem.
Spikes do not replace a lock. A locked plot with no spikes still beats an unlocked plot with a forest of spikes. Combine them.
Never AFK unlocked
This is the whole sermon. If you are tabbed out, the door is locked. If you are grabbing food, the door is locked. If you are typing in chat about Roko Roto, the door is locked. If you are reading this wiki on a second screen, the door is locked.
AFK unlocked on a public server is how Mini Mini farms get emptied. AFK unlocked during an event is how you donate Alfa Payachini Malini. AFK unlocked on a quiet server is still a donation; it just takes longer for someone to notice. Quiet is not single-player.
If you use automation, read script safety and auto-steal on the scripts hub. A farm script that forgets to relock is an invitation. A steal script that leaves your own pad open is worse.
Public-server defense in practice
Public servers (the same environment as the steal clips) punish three habits: long lane stares, trophy placement near the door, and lock-and-forget. Counter them:
- Short trips. Buy, place, lock. Steal, place, lock.
- Deep placement. High-tier names (Inferno, 404, Secrets, Divine) sit far from the first prompt.
- Relock on every return, even if you think the timer is fine.
- Know the roster so you recognize what a thief is targeting. Use the players hub and roster until Fede Vigevani, Ian Lucas, and the pig-hat clown are obvious at a glance.
- After a successful defense, do not chase the thief across the ring unless your lock is fresh and their carried unit is a real upgrade. Revenge with an open door is how plots swap.
Codes will not save a stolen slot. Still keep codes and how to redeem for later. Event windows and lock-related patches land on updates and the changelog. Secret-hunting that requires you to stand outside grouping Lulis is a secret payasos problem: do it with a lock plan or do not do it. Official destinations are on the links hub. The tier list tells you which slot is the one you cannot afford to donate.
A protected plot is boring on purpose. Boring plots still have Roko Roto in them at the end of the session.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for steal routes, locks, and payaso ranks.
When should I lock?
Whenever a payaso is on a slot and you are about to look away. If the lock is on cooldown, stand in the door. Binds are on controls.
Is it safe to AFK on a quiet server?
Only if you are locked. Quiet is still online eight-player stealing, not single-player. See how to play.
Do spikes replace a lock?
No. Spikes punish a late grab. Locks prevent the grab. Buy spikes after the door habit is real.
Should I park a Common near the door on purpose?
Yes, once you have spare Commons and real income sitting deeper. That bait is useless if Luli is your only unit. Starters belong in Getting Started.
Someone keeps testing my lock on public servers. What now?
Watch the door, relock on every return, and do not chase. If you must leave, use a short route from the steal planner.
Can a script guard the base for me?
Treat that as a risk. Read script safety before you hand the lock to a tool. A missed relock is a public steal.
