Test roba un payaso How to Steal
Grab an upgrade, run home, place it. Anything else is a donation.
Steal only upgrades
A steal in Test roba un payaso is not a dare. You walk into an unlocked (or lock-expired) base, grab a payaso, and run it onto your own slot. If the unit’s $/s is worse than the slot you are about to fill, you just spent lock time and sprint for a downgrade. Check the number on the model. If you cannot read it, check the value sheet and the tier list before you commit.
Never steal a Luli because the owner is easy. Never steal Alfasoldadini Oscurini (about $3/s) to replace Mini Mini. Never steal a trophy Common off a Divine plot “to send a message.” Messages do not print cash. Roko Roto does.
If your own door is unlocked, you are not stealing. You are trading. Lock first using the habits in how to protect. Then leave.
Read the eight-base ring
Public servers hold eight players, eight plots, one center lane. Your route is a ring, not a tour. Pick a direction and stick to it so you always know which turn is home.
Before you step out:
- Confirm your lock is live.
- Pick the target door you can see from your pad, not the fanciest plot across the map.
- Know whether you are grabbing from an empty-looking public server or a packed one. Packed servers have more upgrades and more people waiting on your return path.
- Sketch the run in the steal planner if you keep dying to the same spike corner. The tools hub is for that, not for hanging out with the door open.
On a quiet server, doors stay open longer and owners AFK. That is practice. On a full public server, doors open for seconds. That is the real exam. Both are online multiplayer. Neither is split-screen.
Unlocked bases, expired locks, bait
You cannot honestly steal through a healthy lock. Wait. Watch. Owners who buy from the lane often leave a gap. Owners who AFK after a long lock get punished when the timer ends. Owners who bait with a door Common (a Luli or Mini Mini parked in the grab path) want you to take the cheap unit and eat spikes. If the only exposed model is a Common and a Divine is sitting one slot deeper, assume bait. Walk past. The full bait conversation is on the protect page; your job here is not to take the candy.
Spikes are not decoration. If the approach is covered, you need a line that does not clip them, or you need to wait until the owner is busy on someone else’s plot. Sprinting into spikes with a Secret in your hands is how Los Fachas change homes.
Grab, turn, home, place
Proximity prompt (E on many keyboards, on-screen button on mobile, listed in controls). Grab. Turn immediately. Do not emote. Do not inspect the face on Fede Vigevani’s blue hoodie. Do not stop to see if Ian Lucas is still on the other slot. Sprint the same path you planned. Place on an empty slot or on the worst slot. Relock.
If your slots are full, empty the worst one before you leave, or you will arrive home holding Alfa Payachini Malini with nowhere to put it. A Secret on the carpet is a public event.
Priority when several units are exposed:
- Divine (Roko Roto) if you can actually carry it home.
- Secret (Alfa Payachini Malini, Los Fachas).
- High named (Inferno, 404).
- Clear upgrades (Dufini Sombrini, Beta Soldadini Azulini, Fede Vigevani) that beat your worst slot.
- Nothing. Leave. A failed grab that wakes the owner is worse than waiting.
Public versus empty-looking servers
Empty-looking public servers still have up to eight pads. They are good for learning the grab prompt and for taking neglected Mini Mini upgrades. They are bad for finding Divine. Full public servers during admin abuse are the opposite: rare names spawn, luck spikes, and seven other players take the same line as you. In that chaos, steal the unit you can finish, not the unit you would brag about.
If the server is an event and you have no empty slot, you are not a thief, you are a courier for whoever is standing on your porch. Prep slots at home first. Track event timing on updates and the changelog.
What not to do while carrying
- Do not window-shop the lane with a stolen unit in hand. Buy after you place.
- Do not fight in the open. You are not in a battleground. You are on a timer.
- Do not drop into a second steal because the next door is also open. One unit per trip until you never drop the first.
- Do not use a macro you do not understand. If you look at automation, start at the scripts hub, then auto-steal and script safety. A tool that steals while unlocking your own door is not a shortcut.
After the steal
Relock. Confirm $/s. Compare the new worst slot to the roster so you know what you are hunting next. If you still have Commons occupying slots beside a Secret, plan the next replace, not a museum. Codes do not help a live steal; still keep codes and how to redeem for later drops. Official links sit on the links hub. The players hub is for naming what you just took.
If you got nothing, that is still a successful scouting lap as long as your own plot is intact. If you lost your starter because you left unlocked, that is not a steal problem. That is a Getting Started problem. Re-read how to play until leaving the pad feels expensive.
The only steal that matters is the one that sits on your slot, ticks, and stays behind a lock. Everything else is a clip.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for steal routes, locks, and payaso ranks.
Can I steal from a locked base?
Not while the lock is healthy. Wait for expiry or for the owner to leave. Defense side is how to protect.
What if the only open unit is worse than mine?
Skip it. Stealing down wastes lock time. Confirm numbers on the value sheet.
Public server or quiet server for stealing?
Quiet servers teach the grab. Full public servers, especially during admin abuse, are where Secrets actually sit unlocked for a second.
Should I use an auto-steal script?
Read script safety and auto-steal first. A tool that opens your own door is a gift to the server.
How do I not get caught on the way home?
Plan the ring in the steal planner, avoid spikes, and do not second-steal while carrying. Controls for sprint and grab are on controls.
